Nail Care Tips
Nail Care Tips:
1. Shape and file after every cut
2. Wash your hands (getting rid of grimy stuff in your nails can help keep them healthy)
3. Don't cut your cuticles! Your cuticle seals the base area of your nail, so cutting them can get rid of the protection.
4. When you don't have nail polish on, protect your nails with a base coat.
5. Moisturize your hands and nails regularly.
Signs you have healthy nails:
. Your nail plates are a pink-Ish white color
. Your cuticles are noticeable (so it's best not to cut them!)
. Your nails and white tips are the same length
Signs you have unhealthy nails:
. Your nails are peeling or very dry-this is mostly a sign of lack of vitamins
. Tiny white spots are showing up on your nails...this could be a sign you're painting your nails too often with bad product
. Your nails have horizontal grooves-this is a sign of finger jamming
. Spoon shaped nails
. You have red, swollen skin around your nails-this could be from removing or cutting cuticles
